Photo Lesson 1

Digitalcreator Unit B


 
Analogue Photography

Capture: The lens of the camera and the light sensetive film.
Process: The develop of the negative film.
Store: The develop of the negative film and the photographic photo.


Digital Photography

Capture: The lens of the digital camera and the sesitive sensor for the use of the capture.
Process:  The digital data is by a processor.
Store: The storage of the digital camera is the memory card.



Types of image files

RAW: High quality of the original file.
JPEG: Reduces file size, not as good quality.
.tif: Tagged image file format, best for printing images.
.psd: Photoshop Documents
.gif: Graphics interchange format, animated images.
 
Mega pixels

6mp - Has less squares in the photo, so it's more lifelike.
1mp - Has more squares in the photo, so it's more not lifelike.
